POSITION: Nuba Mountains Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Director of Programs

SUPERVISES: Program Manager, Project Managers and staff

LOCATION: Nuba Mountains, Sudan

DURATION: One Year Minimum


• Education - MA or undergraduate University degree in administration, management, social sciences, engineering, or an equivalent discipline

• Experience - Minimum of five years of professional work experience at national and or international levels in program development

- Experience in the implementation and monitoring of development projects

- Experience in implementing water and sanitations programs

• Skills - Technical expertise in water programs

- Strong analytical and writing skills

- Proven ability to conceptualize, develop, plan and manage programs as well as to transfer knowledge and skills

- Proven fluency in spoken and written English is a requirement, fluency in Arabic is an asset

- Proficient in computer skills, Word, Excel, etc.

- Basic accounting skills, understanding of budgets, balance sheets, spreadsheets and financial reporting

• Personal - A dynamic and self-motivated individual, who is willing to live in a rural setting under sometimes harsh environmental conditions

- Good interpersonal skills and able to provide team leadership
