National Communications Secretariat Jobs

Location: Kenya.

National Communications Secretariat Jobs: The National Communications Secretariat, created under Section 84 of the Communications Act 1998, is the policy advisory body to the Government on matters relating to information and communication policy.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Kenyans for the position of:

Communications Technology Expert

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in electrical/electronic engineering/telecommunications or Bachelor of Technology in telecommunications, from a recognized university.

Masters degree in electrical/electronic engineering, information technology or computer science with an emphasis on information and communications technologies.

Telecommunications systems engineering experience of at least 10 years.

Be well-versed in end-user computing and internet skills and have excellent oral, written and presentation communications skills in English.

Experience in policy analysis and formulation will be an advantage as will be ability to work independently as well as part of a team of experts.
