Call for Applications for funding: Scholarships and fellowships

The call for applications for Master's and doctoral scholarships as well as Postdoctoral Fellowships is now open.

Applicants who have previously registered on NRF Online will be able to access the Interim system

With effect, there will be no block grants for Innovation Master's scholarships since they will be awarded in an open competition

Honours candidates receiving support under the Innovation Scholarships will not automatically receive Master's scholarships as was the case previously.

Provisional awards for fellowships in the following categories for support:

NRF Free-standing Postdoctoral Fellowships for research in South Africa

NRF Free-standing Postdoctoral Fellowships for research Abroad

Innovation Postdoctoral Fellowships for research in South Africa

Deadline: 31st July and 15 August
