Medical School Electives - HospitalsOur medical elective students typically work in the following hospitals. Each elective rotation has an assigned preceptor responsible for the student. Every hospital offers students a unique learning experience. A. Kenya 1. Nairobi 2. Eldoret 3. Meru 4. Kapsabet Kapsabet district Hospital 5. Nandi Hills Nandi Hills District Hospital 6. Kilifi (coast province) Kilifi District hospital 7. Bomet Tenwek Mission Hospital B. Tanzania 1. Arusha 2. Moshi Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC) - Must apply at least 6 months before the planned start date. 3. Mwanza Sekou Toure Hospital 4. Zanzibar Mnazi Mmoja Hospital Medical rotations include both outpatient and inpatient settings. During the medical electives period, students are expected to work with an assigned doctor or nurse. School evaluation will be completed for all medical students.
