Masters of Public Administration Scholarships (Distance Learning)
The University of York has been awarded Commonwealth Scholarships by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the United Kingdom (CSCUK) for students joining the online Masters in Public Policy and Management courses.
Scholarships are available to students living and working in developing countries of the Commonwealth, particularly those working in or with public organisations, including NGOs, aid agencies and local/national government departments, working towards the eight Millennium Development Goals :
Eradication of extreme poverty and hunger
Achieve universal primary education
Promote gender equality and empower women
Reduce child mortality
Improve maternal health
Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases
Ensure environmental sustainability
Develop a global partnership for development
The Masters programmes covered by these bursaries are flexible.
How to Apply:
Complete the Commonwealth Scholarship application form and return it to; spsw-online[at]york.ac.uk together with two references and a personal statement explaining the developmental impact to be expected from the award of this bursary.
