Applicants should hold an M.D or M.B.Ch.B, degree or equivalent from a recognised university and should have satisfactorily completed a year of internship at an institution recognized by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists' Board of Tanzania. A further one year period of experience in any area of medical practice is preferred but not mandatory.
This is a (4) residency program leading to an M.Med Degree awarded by Aga Khan University. The program is part of the East African regional Post Graduate Medical Education initiative of Aga Khan University in East Africa. Admission is Merit-based and entails a written examination and interviews.
