Master PhD Scholarship Urban Engineering - University of Tokyo
University of Tokyo, offers graduate study program with governmental scholarship for foreign student.
The field of study in the Department is environmental engineering or urban and regional planning.
The education and the research supervision are conducted either in English or Japanese.
For the matriculation of 2008 program which starts in October 2008, the deadline for the application is Oct.31, 2007.
University of Tokyo only accepts applications sent by air-mails, and will not accept on-line applications. You are kindly advised to use international A4 or US letter sized sheets for the submission of the documents.

Eligibility:
This scholarship is awarded to citizens of countries with a Japanese
embassy.
Besides holding sufficient educational qualifications, applicants
must be born after April 2, 1973.
The applicant must also start their studies
in Japan between 1 and 7 October 2008.
How to Apply
To apply for an October 2008 Monbukagakusho Scholarship, the following
documents must be submitted to the Department’s Foreign Student Office
by October 31, 2007
- A completed application form.
- An official certificate or attested copy of the certificate for your degrees
in undergraduate and post-graduate studies.
-An official academic transcript or an attested copy of the transcript for
your undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Two confidential letters of recommendation written on the attached
official scholarship form. Each letter should be in a sealed envelope
with the signature of the recommender over the flap.
- A copy of official certificate of TOEFL score or any other proof of your
English proficiency.
