Master in International and Development Economics Scholarships: A one year Advanced Master in International and Development Economics University of Namur (FUNDP) and University of Louvain (UCL) Belgium.

Each year, the program gathers students from all over the world to train them in international and development economics and help them become actors of economic development in the context of an integrated world economy.

A basic training in economics (at least 4 years) is required to follow the program.

Courses are structured around three themes:

  • Macroeconomic management

  • International economic relations

  • Economic development, with emphasis on poverty reduction and institutional issues

    Teaching staff includes well-known academic researchers with field experience in Asia, Africa and Latin America.

    Around 15 scholarships per year for students from developing countries offered by:

  • CUD (Commission Universitaire pour le développement – Belgian Government)
  • CTB (Coopération Technique Belge)
  • CGRI (Commissariat Général aux Relations Internationales)

    Application deadline: Annually.
