Manager, Supply Management, KickStart - KenyaKickStart
Location: Kenya (Nairobi with some work in Tanzania and Mali)
Closing date: 16 Jul 2007
The ideal candidate will have proven leadership capabilities, communications skills and 5 years direct experience in logistics, materials planning and control and purchasing.
In addition to a bachelors degree we require:
1. Proven experience in developing and implementing supply management strategies
2. Proven experience in importing and exporting products and goods throughout Africa
3. Experience using ERP/MRP systems
4. Strong analytical skills including Microsoft Excel financial modeling
5. Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with people from different cultures
6. English speaking skills
Preferred skills or experiences include:
1. Previous experience working in Africa or other developing countries
2. Team Building
3. Change Management
4. Certification in professional associations such as CPIM, APICS, and/or Six Sigma
5. Thrives in a fast paced environment
