MSc and MRes Studentships

A number of MSc and MRes Studentships are available at:

Communication Systems & Photonics and Communication Systems

Institute of Advanced Telecommunications (IAT)

University of Wales.

IAT is currently seeking to recruit a number of ambitious students to enter Taught Masters Programmes in the areas above.

Candidates should have, or be about to receive, an honours degree (at least 2:1 or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline and have real enthusiasm for telecommunications.

A number of fully and partially funded studentships are available to support strong candidates for 12 months of study.

Fully-funded studentships would include a stipend of £12,300 per year (current 2006/7 rate) and home/EU tuition fees of £3,168 (Total value of studentship is £15,468).

This could cover tuition fees for International students (£11,070 for 2007 entry) and make a contribution towards students' living expenses.
