MED Program Manager, ARC - Uganda

American Refugee Committee International (ARC) invites applications for the post of MED Program Manager.

Location: Uganda (Northing Uganda)

Closing date: 19 Sep 2007

Qualfications

1) At least (2) two years experience working with micro-enterprise development programs in developing or post-conflict countries

2) Two (2) years management experience, including budget oversight and basic operations.

3) Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or International Relations with a focus on Micro-Enterprise Development or in Social Sciences, Conflict resolution and prevention preferred.

4) Strong leadership and team building skills for leading operations and implementing innovative, responsive and flexible program in a transitional setting.

5) Knowledge or experience working with internally displaced populations and/or in post-conflict countries.

6) Must have proven business and market analytical skills and ability to conduct market surveys.

7) Strong interpersonal skills to negotiate and work with foreign experts, managers, government and non-government officials, local staff, and target populations. Superior written and communication skills.
