LLM Scholarships in Internet Law and Policy - Strathclyde University UK. 

Study the legal implications surrounding information technology and telecommunications on the world's longest established postgraduate masters (LLM) course in Internet Law and Policy.

The LLM in Internet Law & Policy is offered on campus and via distance learning.

Full-time distance learning LLM and PGDip students complete six modules.

Assessment

Assessment is made on the basis of:

  • 3,000 or 4,000-word essays submitted at the end of each module
  • Completion of three modules will qualify students for the award of Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert)
  • Satisfactory completion of six modules qualifies students for a Diploma (PgDip) in Internet Law and Policy
  • To qualify for the award of the LLM degree, students are additionally required to submit a dissertation of around 15,000 words

Duration; This course has two intakes: January and September 

LLM Distance Learning 

  • The distance learning course is normally taken over two years with 3 modules per year.

PGDip Distance Learning 

  • The distance learning course is normally taken over two years with 3 modules per year.

LLM Scholarships in Internet Law and Policy

The Law School is delighted to announce success in securing 5 Scholarships from the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission for LLM Internet Law and Policy/LLM Information Technology and Telecommunications Law (Distance Learning)

5 scholarships available for the distance learning mode of study - covering full tuition fee of £3,700.00 per annum

Candidates are required to submit an application to the Commission through the Electronic Application System - EAS (in addition they must submit a University online application to gain a place on the course).

Candidates must provide evidence of their competence in English by means of an overall academic IELTS score of no less than 7.0/6.5 with at least 6.0 in each individual element. 

Candidates who do not fulfill this requirement will be deemed ineligible.

Candidates that have not submitted an application through the EAS will not be considered for this scholarship.
