Kenya Yearbook Editorial Board Jobs: The Kenya Yearbook Editorial Board is a State Corporation whose main mandate is to publish the national yearbook as well as other publications that record and examine the country’s past, present and future aspirations and experiences.

They wish to fill the following position urgently:

Internal Auditor: Job ref: Mn 3343

Duties and responsibilities:

1.Reporting to the chief executive officer and the board.

The officer will be:

  • In charge of internal audit.
  • Preparing audit plans and programmes.
  • Reviewing internal control systems on financial and other
  • operations of departments.
  • Ensuring economy, efficiency and effectiveness in financial and operating systems.
  • Verifying the existence and safety of the board’s assets.
  • Preparing audit reports to management and follow up on action taken.
  • Supervising staff within the unit and maintenance of high audit standards and general discipline.
  • Secretary to the board’s audit committee.
  • Liaising with external auditors.

    Requirements for employment:

  • To be appointed to this grade, one must:-
  • Be in possession of CPA (K)
  • Be in possession of a bachelor of commerce degree (accounting / finance option).
  • Be computer literate and competent in one or more of the automated accounting packages.
  • Have at least three years experience in internal audit.
