Request for Proposals for the Design and Development of Magical Kenya Mobile Application

Tender No. KTB/T/0011/2012-13:

Kenya Tourist Board (KTB) invites sealed proposals from eligible service providers for the Design and Development of a Magical Kenya mobile application.

The proposed Mobile Application will endeavour to elicit interest in Kenya’s key touristic products including and not limited to Wildlife, Beach, Culture, Sports, Adventure, Entertainment, Shopping and Eco Tourism with a view to enhancing the overall tourist experience before the trip, during the trip and after their travel to Kenya.

Interested eligible firms may obtain further information and collect proposal documents from the Procurement Office upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Kenya Shillings 2,000.00 per set of documents payable at the cashier’s office on 7th floor, Kenya Tourist Board Headquarters, Kenya Re Towers, Upper Hill, Off Ragati Road (Tel. +2540202749121/2711262), during working hours, i.e. Monday to Friday between 8.00 a.m. – 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m.-5.00 p.m. w. e. f Friday 11th, 2012.

Completed proposal documents, the original and copy of the technical proposal in sealed envelopes clearly marked TECHNICAL PROPOSAL and the original and copies of financial proposal clearly marked Financial Proposal and a warning Do Not Open With The Technical Proposal.

Both envelopes shall be placed into an outer envelope and sealed.

This outer envelope shall clearly be marked "TENDER NO. KTB/T/0011/2012-13: For the Design and Development of Magical Kenya Mobile Application" Do not Open Except in the Presence of the Tender Opening Committee addressed to:

Should be deposited in the Tender Box located on 7th Floor, Kenya Re Towers, Upper Hill, Off Ragati Road, Nairobi, Kenya so as to reach us on or before 12.00 Noon on Thursday 31st May, 2012.

Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the Board Room on the 8th Floor in the presence of tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend.

Any late tenders will not be accepted.
