Kimisitu Sacco Ltd is a fast growing Savings and Credit Co-operative Society for the employees of International Organizations, Foreign Missions, Embassies, Non-Governmental Organizations and any other organization approved by the Board of Directors.
Kimisitu Sacco Ltd are looking for an energetic and result oriented Systems Administrator to head the newly formed Information and Communications department.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure the routine maintenance of ICT equipment.
Ensure that virus protection software is installed on all PCs and updated regularly.
Providing technical support to system users.
Train staff in application usage and troubleshooting.
Developing, maintaining and monitoring procedures for all server backups and report generation.
Monitoring of LAN/WAN and internet firewalls.
Performing on-site and remote technical support.
Installing, configuring and upgrading OS and software, security software and administrative packages.
Perform any other system administration tasks.
Minimum Qualification & Attributes
Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 2 years experience.
Good knowledge in local area networks, security of data.
Has training capability of troubleshooting and support.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in ATM operations and working knowledge of Navision is an added advantage.
