Kenya Accreditation Service (KENAS) is an Independent Corporate Legal Entity that was established in May under Legal Notice No.55/2009.

They seek to recruit:

1. Managing Director

Key Competencies:

  • A first degree in Medicine /Veterinary/Pharmacy/Science /Medical Laboratory Science/Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, and Law or its equivalent from a recognized University and at least ten year experience in the relevant field at senior management level in an organization serving a large and demanding clientele or
  • A Masters degree in any of the above professions from a recognized university, and at least seven (7) years experience in the relevant field at senior management level in an organization serving a large and demanding clientele.
  • A PhD will be an added advantage.
  • Be registered with the relevant professional Regulator.
  • Familiarity with reform programs and commercial (Private) or Public Sector settings and vision 2030 aspirations.
  • A track history of creativity, innovation, self drive, results oriented and ability to handle a sensitive clientele.
  • Exceptional visionary leadership and negotiation skills and capacity to engage with local, regional and international organizations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational and team capacities and high professional outstanding.

    2. Finance Manager

    Key Competencies:

  • Have a Bachelors degree in Commerce (Accounting option), from a recognized university.
  • A Masters degree in Accounts or Administration will be an added advantage.
  • Have 5 years working experience 3 of which must have been in senior position.
  • Be a CPA (K) certificate holder.
  • Be computer literate and have knowledge of accounting packages.
  • Demonstrate high leadership qualities and be a team player.
  • Be a person of high integrity.
  • Be above 30 years of age.
