Junior Professional Associates Program - The World Bank

Are you a recent graduate? Do you have passion for and commitment to helping others? Are you looking for a solid, two-year entry-level work experience in a multicultural environment? If so, you may be interested in the World Bank Junior Professional Associates program.

The Junior Professional Associates (JPA) Program is a two-year employment opportunity with the World Bank for recent graduates with a superior academic record. Through the Program, JPAs gainfirst-hand experience and knowledge of international development.

This experience can then be used as a “stepping stone” for careers outside the World Bank in academic, research and the public or private sector.

The eligibility requirements for the JPA Program are as follows:

  • 28 years of age or younger

  • Completed Bachelors degree or higher

  • Fluency in English

  • Relevant work experience is useful

  • Working knowledge of an additional language relevant to the World Bank’s work is beneficial

Applications for the JPA are accepted throughout the year.
