Journalist Prize for Cultural Dialogue

The Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue between Cultures and the International Federation of Journalists are offering the second Journalist Prize for Cultural Dialogue.

The Journalist Prize aims at encouraging journalism that effectively contributes to open dialogue between cultures and people by spreading awareness of diversity and tolerance.

To participate, journalists must submit an article or a series of articles which tackles, directly or indirectly, the theme of “cultural dialogue".

Submitted articles should illustrate models of presence or lack of dialogue and mutual respect between cultures through current situations and events.

You must be a citizen from one of these countries; Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia

Eligible articles must have been published between May 1 and October 31 in one of these countries: Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia.

Applicants can enter the competition with only one article/article series per year (written individually or by a team of journalists)

Each application must include the following:

  • An original or scan of the original article.

  • A full translation in English or French, if applicable.
  • A copy of an identity document.
  • A CV.

    The deadline for application is October 31.
