Director of Technical Services
Qualifications:
Strong managerial, organizational, supervisory and problem solving skills;
Professional experience with health programs funded by USAID;
Experience with public programming and with USG government efforts, including PEPFAR and the Global Health Initiative;
Experience in the provision of technical assistance and capacity building support to non-governmental organizations;
Solid understanding of USAID policies and regulations;
Advanced degree in public health, management, public policy, business or related fields or significant project management experience;
Experience in the design and implementation of capacity building (management and technical), preferably in public health (eg. HIV, nutrition, family planning, maternal and child health);
Technical expertise in one or more programs areas;
Over five years of management experience;
Knowledge of or ability to quickly grasp JSI management and quality assurance systems; and
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
