Investigator

Location: Nairobi, Kenya.

Within delegated authority, under the direction of the Chief, Professional Practices Section of the Investigations Division of the Office of Internal Oversight Services (ID/OIOS), the incumbent will assist to: - coordinate and maintain quality assurance activities within the Division.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced University degree (Master's Degree or equivalent) in law or related area.

  • A first level University degree in combination with qualifying experience in fraud and corruption investigations or related areas may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

  • A minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional experience in investigatory work.

  • Investigatory experience with an international public organization is desirable.

  • English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.

  • Proficiency in software applications used in administrative and criminal investigations is required.
