It is a tuition fee scholarship.

The scholarship is open to eligible candidates who are commencing full-time enrolment for the first time in the Higher Degree by Research (HDR) in Australian higher education institutions, including the University of Sydney.

The objective of the University of Sydney Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (EIPRS) is to attract top quality international postgraduate students to areas of research strengths and support the University’s research effort.

Recipients of the scholarship will be automatically awarded the International Postgraduate Research Award (IPA) payable as stipend.

The duration of the Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (EIPRS) is up to three years for a doctorate (PhD) candidature and up to two years for a Master’s by Research.

Recipients may commence their study during semester 1 (March) or Semester 2 (July).

No separate application for the EIPRS is required – all candidates need only complete the University of Sydney Postgraduate Research Application Form.
