Impumelelo Sustainability Awards
The Impumelelo Innovations Award Trust is launching the Sustainability Awards to coincide with its 10th anniversary celebrations.
Having awarded 268 exceptional public service projects, the World Cup is the ideal platform to generate new thinking around sustainable development and poverty reduction.
Provides South Africans with the opportunity to change the way to live, produce, and consume.
Climate change, global warming, carbon emissions, and sustainable development – are but a few of the buzz words of the 21st century.
The Sustainability Awards is an incentive for government, business, and civil society to think creatively and innovatively about how to become greener in all aspects of life.
Innovation calls for thinking that is imaginative, creative, and novel.
The Sustainability Awards is the opportunity to show your commitment to addressing challenges in the following areas:
Green Science & Technology
Green Building & Infrastructure
Green Landscaping & Biodiversity
Green Transport & Mobility
Green Agriculture & Land Use
Green Tourism & Hospitality
Green Communities & Cities
Green Education & Training
Green Arts & Culture
If you have demonstrated your expertise in addressing any of these challenges through a project or programme that is novel, creative and innovative, Impumelelo invites you to apply for the Sustainability Awards.
Impumelelo distinguishes between the prize-worthy and the praiseworthy and will honour the top ten winners with monetary grants to be used by projects to spread their success story to communities elsewhere in South Africa.
Deadline: 31st July.
