IREX seeks to recruit:
1. Agricultural Education Specialist
Qualifications:
An advanced university degree (Ph.D. strongly preferred) in a subject relevant to international agricultural development.
At least three years experience in international development.
Fluency in English.
Sub-Saharan Africa experience in agriculture and/or agricultural education programs.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field
Five or more years of experience working on conflict mitigation and/or youth programming required
Excellent understanding of conflict triggers in Kenya required
Experience conducting trainings, and working with youth, government officials, CSOs
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to communicate with local stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of project activities
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet required).
