WASH Quality Control Officer
Job Description: As WASH quality control officer (WQCO), you work under the direct supervision of the Technical unit coordinator (TUC) and in close collaboration with the Wash project manager.
You will ensure technical supervision of the entire WASH activities in affected areas of Somali region.
Your general mission is to ensure that wash facilities and activities respect SPHERE quality standard and to reinforce the technical capacities of the PM and WASH engineer
Your main responsibilities:
Ensure the access to quality water, toilets and washing points
Define precisely technical aspects and implementation PROCESSES of WASH projects:
Ensure that all the HI standard processes are in place and well followed, including:
Ensure the good general management support
Diploma or University degree within the related field (water, sanitation, environment)
A minimum of 3 years of experience in similar position
Experience and comprehensive understanding of universal design and accessibility
Experience in NGO preferably in emergency context
Ability to work under high pressure and without constant supervision
Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
Field work oriented, flexible, diplomatic.
Required Language Skills: English mandatory (oral and written)
Employment Conditions: Salary: 1900-2200 € gross salary/month + 457 Euros net/month expatriation allowance + accommodation + 50% of the medical cover taken in charge by HI + repatriation insurance + Or Volunteer: 750 or 850 Euros monthly indemnity + living allowance paid on the field + accommodation + 100% of the medical cover taken in charge by HI + repatriation insurance

Assistant Manager Logistics
Purpose of Job:
Under the direct responsibility of the Head of Logistics and futures
Support Services Coordinator, the Assistant Logistics Manager oversees all activities of the logistics department and will eventually be the guarantor so that logistical procedures in place on the program are implemented and respected .

National Assistant Logistics Manager will be responsible for the following responsibilities:
Management / Team Management
Administrative Organization Management, supply chain
vehicle fleet management and travel
Building management program
Management - Inventory Management Equipment Management

HI is also present in the DRC through its Directorate for Development Actions (Kinshasa) and the Directorate for Emergency Actions (Goma). The three departments of Shares coexist independently and work on the principle of Operational differentiation.
Implementation and development of the program:
Participate in the strategic development of the program, the implementation of new guidelines and validate in cooperation with the Desk Officer and Technical Referrers seat.
Identify funding opportunities consistent with the objectives of the strategic plan.
Ensuring the process of project development in coordination with the project managers and technical references.
Prepare project documents for submission to donors; Ensure coverage means for the project overseeing the budget package for the projects.
Provide technical support required to conduct the project (external consultants, RT seat).
Ensure the process of narrative and financial reporting to donors, in coordination with the desk.
In collaboration with staff dedicated to the project (Head of Operations, Quality Assurance Manager) ensure the implementation of a system for Monitoring and Evaluation activities.
Ensure the adequacy of activities under the strategic plan of the program.
Oversee the implementation of operational action plans (in conjunction with the Operations Manager) and ensure compliance with the completion schedule of the project activities.
Coordinate between different components / project activities.
Conduct visits to field activities and contribute to improving the efficiency and quality of activités.menées.
Management Support services:
Ensure compliance with logistic procedures, HR, administrative and financial Handicap International, supervisory Admin / Log (or Support Services Coordinator).
In coordination with the Administrator to ensure the quality of budget monitoring and validating the quarterly budget revisions.
Ensure effective coordination between the carrier and services the project.
Representation of Handicap International:
Represent the Directorate of Action against Mines (DAM) HI in the country of operation, local authorities, partners and donors.
Participate in the representation of the mandate of HI intervention in the country, in collaboration with other Directorates Action (Country Director DAD and CdM SAD).
Participate in meetings / forums / clusters, in connection with our work in the country of operation.
Ensure the implementation of the security plan defined in the country of operation, and its relevance to the management policy of security of Handicap International.
Taking security management teams expatriate and national.
Review the security plan in force in the program based on contextual developments and seek validation Desk on changes
