Governance and Public Administration Officer
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
This post is located in the Governance and Public Administration Division (GPAD) of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Economics, Development Studies, Governance, Political Science, Law, Public Administration, or a related field is required.
A first level university degree with a relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.
Experience of at least 5 years in research and policy analysis in a range of governance, economic management and public policy issues in the context of Africa is a requirement.
Direct experience working on issues relevant to the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) at the national or continental is desirable.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets and presentation programmes are required.
