The competition takes place within the context of the E-learning programme launched by the European at Lisbon to guarantee awareness of digital culture amongst teachers and students in schools. More precisely, the aim of the Global Junior Challenge is to encourage young generations and their teachers to use of the new technologies, exchange experiences and emulate successful initiatives. It is a unique opportunity for teachers and students to reflect on the significance of digital literacy, whilst exposing them with to the vast range of high quality solutions proposed by other youth from around the world. Competition Application Eligibility Criteria: The competition is open to each of the following entities: Eligible projects will be judged in terms of their innovative use of new technology and contribution to the development of youth education.
