The German School Nairobi is part of the global network of Germany Schools abroad that are supported by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany. It is a co-educational, Muilti ethnic, non-denominational school.

Education leads to the German Abitur –equivalent to A-levels.The abitur qualifies students to enter universities and colleges in Germany at an affordable rate, and is recognized by all EU member states and the majority of non EU Countries.

Children of all background may apply for Scholarships. Their records should demonstrate excellent academic performance, and they should be open to meet new challenges in the school and its community. The scholarship covers 75% of the school fees, books, boarding, meals and transport are not included.

Candidates considered academically suitable will be invited for tests on November 2011.The school’s decision on each applicants shall be final.

The scholarship is reviewed annually and shall be granted up to Abitur level if academic standards are met.

Successful candidates will be enrolled from January and undergo an intensive 6-months German Language course to prepare for the academic year starting in August 2012,when they will enter standard 5.
