German Agro Action Jobs

Location:Karthoum, Sudan.

German Agro Action / Welthungerhilfe is an International NGO operating in various Counties in Kenya and is currently looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Country Representative for a fixed term.

The position will be based in Nairobi

To qualify as a Country Representative the candidate must poses the following:-

Relevant experience in development cooperation and humanitarian aid operations in developing countries, as well as good understanding of development approaches and standards

Proven over 6 years of experience in management or leading positions, including financial and HR management in a multi-cultural working environment,

Skills in emergency preparedness and response,

Advanced University degree (Masters) preferably International Affairs, Political or Social Sciences or related fields

Experience in fundraising for international institutional agencies and managing budgets with diverse donor base,

Experience in developing strategic and operational partnerships with donors, other INGOs and national level NGOs for project and advocacy interventions,

A clear and sound understanding of international development in the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) projects,

Good command of English and German as working languages both written and oral and the ability to work under pressure

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and excellent knowledge of SAP and WINPACCS software are prerequisite
