Gbv Project Manager
Country Program: Rwanda
Responsible To: Camp Manager
Supervisory Responsibility: Byumba (Gihembe Camp) And Gituza (Nyabiheke Camp)
Graduate degree in public health, social work, counselling or
Minimum of three years experience in program management (including budgets), with at least one year in a developing country (or an indigenous context) with GBV practice.
Experience in Africa and/or a conflict/transitional situation
Proven staff management experience.
Experience in developing training curricula and conducting
trainings, preferably related to GBV and other sensitive issues.
Good working knowledge of RH, especially sexual violence and
Strong written skills (including proposal writing) and oral
communication skills in English and French.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including experience in interagency coordination and donor relations.
Familiarity with participatory methodologies.
Experience working in insecure environments on politically and
culturally sensitive topics.
Flexibility and cultural sensitivity.
Strong computer skills - MS Word and Excel.
