Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Merlin’s PHC interventions in Ethiopia are implemented through direct assistance to the MoH at its different administrative levels – by supporting health posts, centres and a district hospital through technical and administrative know-how transfer and material support.
The funding role will work closely with the Country Management Team (CMT), and with support for the Head Office (HO). The Coordinator will be line-managed by the Country Director, with functional support from the Programme Funding Coordinator and Desk in London.
Experience of liaising with and applying to institutional development donors such as EC; USAID; DFID, UN agencies, Scandinavian donors (Norad, Sida, Danida) etc. Note these donors are mentioned as examples and the candidate is not expected to have experience with all these donors.

An understanding of health project planning and implementation, in particular using the logical framework approach.
Experience of working to fundraising strategies.
