FEI is part of a network of partners that can call on consortia of government agencies, administrations, as well as private sector corporations, consultancies and entities in France, Europe and other countries.

FEI also represents France in the European Economic Interest Grouping Eunida, the “European Network of Implementing Development Agencies”.

They seek to recruit a:

1. Senior legal expert (experience enjoyed EDF procedures)

The specific objective of this contract is:

To provide technical assistance to ensure coordination, planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting, as well as financial and contractual management of the program RESEJEP to achieve results expected, including:

i) long-term technical assistance that will be placed directly with the Ministry of Justice and Morality, and

ii) technical assistance for short term specific support for specialized expertise, including for training throughout the program.

This expert will be responsible for proper implementation of the program in all its components, except for the infrastructure component.

It will be designated by the contractor as an accountant estimates that successive programs will be implemented as part of private indirect decentralized operations, and as such will in collaboration with the manager to prepare any estimates successive programs, perform, contract, and assume the functions of checking expenditure and execution of payments and recoveries after scheduling by the imprest.

He is responsible for accounting operations.

Qualifications and skills

  • Have a university degree in law degree (BAC +5)
  • Any additional training in management and planning of institutional procedures will be further appreciated as an asset is fluent in French
  • Have a very good knowledge of computer software the most common
  • General professional experience
  • Have a working experience of 10 years in the course of justice
  • Have a proven track record of at least three years combined in supporting the judiciary in countries of Sub- Saharan Africa, preferably in the legal systems of civil law tradition
  • Have knowledge of project cycle management, logical framework approach, the concepts of monitoring and evaluation is required
  • Specific professional experience preferably.
  • Have a professional experience of at least 3 years in the field of institutional support or equivalent.
  • Have good teaching skills .
  • Knowledge of development cooperation between the EU and the U.S.
  • ACP will be appreciated o Knowledge of EDF procedures will be appreciated

    1. Sectoral expert control and management of education systems

    Qualifications and skills

  • The expert must have extensive experience in the field of development and monitoring of education policies, especially in developing countries (DCs).
  • Advanced degree (bac + 5) Economics of Education or statistician specializing in the education sector with experience of programs and projects of international cooperation in developing countries.
  • Proven experience in the education sector policy (definition, implementation)
  • Good working knowledge of the Fast Track Initiative
  • Proven experience in capacity building
  • International work experience of at least three years in public education systems in developing countries would be greatly appreciated.
