Concern Worldwide is an Irish-based non-governmental, international, humanitarian organisation dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries.
Purpose: To support Concern Kenya programmes in evaluation and research.
Person specification:
Master degree in Nutrition, Health, Epidemiology or related field.
Training in ethical principles of research.
Training in statistical analysis including bivariate and multivariate techniques and complex survey design and analysis.
Experience designing and implementing evaluations and operational research.
Experience developing articles for publication.
Experience with CMAM in both emergency and development contexts.
Experience working in an urban slum environment.
Desirable:
Experience working with government partners, particularly MoH.
Teaching/Training experience, particularly training on statistical analysis.
Experience working in multi-cultural team.
Experience in working in Kenya.
Swahili language skills.
Working knowledge of SPSS, Stata, SAS, EPIINFO, ENA softwares.
