Location: Nairobi, Kenya.

Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) Jobs: The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) is the sector regulatory agency responsible for economic and technical regulation of Electric Power, Renewable Energy and Downstream Petroleum sub sectors.

The Commission is seeking to recruit:

1. Assistant Manager, Licensing and Compliance

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or physical sciences;

Good knowledge of the renewable energy sub sector;

Sound analytical, communication and report writing skills;

At least five (5) years relevant experience.

2. Technical Officer, Renewable Energy

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences from a recognized university;

Not less than three (3) years relevant experience;

Good understanding of the renewable energy sub sector;

Good analytical and report writing skills.

3. Officer, Legal Affairs

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university;

Post-graduate Diploma in Law;

Advocate of the High Court and must possess a current Practicing certificate;

Not less than three (3) years relevant working experience;

Understanding of the legal issues relating to the energy sector;

Good analytical and communication skills.
