1. Technical Experts - Mozambique
Experts and Consultants are being sought include the following:
1. Literacy and Early Grade Reading 2. Teacher Training (Pre-service or In-service) 3. Education Management and School Administrator Training 4. Curriculum Development 5. Education Policy and Planning 6 Community Mobilization 7. Testing and Measurement 8. Monitoring and Evaluation 9. Program Management 10. Financial Management
Must Have:
Regional experience in Africa, preferably in Mozambique and with projects funded through donor agencies such as USAID.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5-7 years relevant experience, or Master's degree or equivalent with 3-5 years relevant experience.
Experience working in the areas that are listed above.
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Chief of Party
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in education or a related field
Previous Chief or Deputy Chief of Party experience in basic education projects
Technical expertise in one of the following areas: reading/literacy and school management
Extensive supervisory/project management experience, with preference for experience with USAID or similar donor and in Africa
A record of effective project leadership and management
Strong organizational, communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.
