Economic Growth Evaluator

Location: Kinshasa, DRC.

Management Systems International (MSI) is a global international development firm based in Washington, D.C. providing specialized short- and long-term technical assistance.

Management Systems International (MSI) is currently looking for consultants that can provide short-term technical assistance in the area of economic growth evaluations.

The work will support the various economic growth needs of the USAID Mission-Kinshasa.

Responsibilities:

  • Interface with USAID economic growth and program staff on evaluation design and development.

  • Develop evaluation methodology, workplan and instruments.

  • Conduct evaluation fieldwork.

  • Develop evaluation report.

    Qualifications:

  • Masters in international economics or related social science field, PhD a plus:

  • 10 years of experience in the field of economic growth evaluation;

  • Previous experience leading economic growth evaluations in Francophone Africa, previous experience in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) a plus;

  • Fluency in French, both written and spoken;

  • Experience working on USAID-supported economic growth initiatives;

  • The ability to travel and work from the field.
