East African Portland Cement Company Jobs: East African Portland Cement Company Ltd has continued to support the growth of our Country's economy through sale of its cement which is not only used in various construction sectors within but also in the East African Region and beyond.

The Company is now looking to fill the position of:

1. HR Planning and Development Manager

Key roles and responsibilities

  • In liaison with the Head of Human Resources and Administration develop staff attraction and retention strategies.
  • Manage and coordinate performance and productivity systems to reward staff, while ensuring that EAPPC attracts and retains the best talent.
  • Ensure periodic reviews of terms and conditions of service and remuneration in conformity with prevailing market needs.
  • Provide leadership in management of change processes within the organization.
  • Manage and enhance HR standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure that manpower needs for all departments are met.
  • Prepare and manage the learning and development budget for the organization.
  • Plan and coordinate the on-boarding process including induction of new employees.
  • Identify training needs and ensure the development, implementation and monitoring of appropriate learning and development programs in the organization.

    Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors degree in a business related field from a recognized institution. An MBA will be an added advantage.
  • At least six (6) years working experience with at least three
  • (3) years in a similar position in a reputable organisation.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation, and negotiating skills with the ability to encourage and motivate others.
