EarthCorps Local Restoration Global Leadership Opportunities - Washington
EarthCorps brings together emerging environmental leaders from around the world to participate in an environmental service program. EarthCorps programs focus on physical hands-on field service that includes: Environmental restoration Community building LeadershipThis is not a classroom or workshop – 80% of the program is in the field, in all weather conditions and requires participants to be very physical. Projects are located throughout Washington State. Benefits EarthCorps international participants will receive: a monthly stipend health insurance homestay familyEarthCorps charges no fees for international participants. Limited travel scholarships are available covering 30% of roundtrip airfare costs up to $500. Special Requirements: EarthCorps has established the following minimum criteria to be considered for the program: 18-25 years of age Conversational English No Criminal RecordMinimum Criteria:
4 year college degree and 1 year of work experience in the environmental field -OR- 5 years of work experience in the environmental fieldDeadlines: Applications are accepted from May 1 - June 15 for crews starting in October; October 1 - November 17 for crews starting in February How to Apply: EarthCorps strongly recommends that applicants submit materials by email to avoid international mail delays.
