Who is eligible (criteria for being considered):

All applicants holding an offer of admission to the Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene.

Overseas candidates of African nationality.

Candidates must be resident in Africa and must be returning to Africa, following completion of the Diploma in Hygiene & Tropical Medicine course.

Candidates must be without funding from another source.

How to apply:

Submit a letter of application stating "Short Course" for the attention of the Short Course Assistant at Registry.

Value of award: The value of the award is £9,000.

The award will go towards tuition fees, living costs, flights and exam fees.

Last date for applications: September.
