Location: Kenya.
College of Insurance Jobs: The College of Insurance provides professional and technical training to employees and other people serving in the insurance industry. They are now seeking to fill the position of: Procurement Officer Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Social Science or its equivalent from a recognized institution;A diploma in Procurement management from Chartered Insurance institute of supplies management and other recognized institution;Must be well conversant with the public procurement and disposal procedure in line with public procurement act;Minimum of five (5) years experience in a similar position;Membership to the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supplies (CIPS) and the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) is mandatory for this position;Excellent communication and negotiation skills:Proficiency in both written and spoken English;Computer literate with hands on experience;Experience in E-procurement will be added advantage;Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, service provider’s suppliers and other stakeholders.2. Lecturer Qualifications: University degree from a recognised University. A post graduate degree will be an added advantage;Professional training and qualification such as ACII, FCII, Advanced Diploma in Retirement Provision from PMI or similar qualifications in life, general insurance branches or pensions;A minimum of five years experience in working for the insurance sector, insurance related organisations or pensions;Teaching experience will be an added advantage;Strong communication and presentation skills;High level of integrity and professional ethics.
