Location: Kenya.

College of Insurance Jobs: The College of Insurance provides professional and technical training to employees and other people serving in the insurance industry.

They are now seeking to fill the position of:

Procurement Officer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Social Science or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
  • A diploma in Procurement management from Chartered Insurance institute of supplies management and other recognized institution;
  • Must be well conversant with the public procurement and disposal procedure in line with public procurement act;
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in a similar position;
  • Membership to the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supplies (CIPS) and the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) is mandatory for this position;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills:
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English;
  • Computer literate with hands on experience;
  • Experience in E-procurement will be added advantage;
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, service provider’s suppliers and other stakeholders.

    2. Lecturer

    Qualifications:

  • University degree from a recognised University. A post graduate degree will be an added advantage;
  • Professional training and qualification such as ACII, FCII, Advanced Diploma in Retirement Provision from PMI or similar qualifications in life, general insurance branches or pensions;
  • A minimum of five years experience in working for the insurance sector, insurance related organisations or pensions;
  • Teaching experience will be an added advantage;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills;
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics.
