CIMMYT Jobs: CIMMYT is an international non-profit research and training center with direct links to about 100 developing countries through offices in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

It is seeking applications from innovative, self-motivated, outstanding Kenyan nationals for the position of:

Research Associate

Qualifications:

MSc degree in agricultural economics or related fields from a recognized university

Strong quantitative skills in econometrics and production economics

Practical experience in field surveys and analysis of farm household and market survey data

Strong quantitative skills in using STATA, SPSS or any other standard econmetric sofware package

Good understanding of rural economy, agricultural policies, markets and value chains in the region

Ability to prioritize and organize work efficiently and independently

An ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with minimal supervision

Good interpersonal skills, integrity, honesty and self motivation

Able to work well within a team.
