Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) is looking to recruit exceptional and experienced individuals to fill the following positions based in Nairobi.
Senior Program Manager – Food Security (Ref: AUA/SPMFS-06/10)
He/she will manage the development and implementation of a new regional food security program.
Key qualification and Experience
A Masters degree in Agronomy, Agriculture or a PhD in food security will be strong advantage.
5 years experience in senior level management.
Demonstrated knowledge of current issues and development practice relating to food security in Africa.
Assistant Program Manager – Scholarship (Ref: AuA/APM-S/06/10)
One who will assist in the management of the Australia Awards Program in Africa.
Participate as necessary in the process of short sting ranking and electing award applicants.
Assistant Programme Manager – NGOs and Community Partnerships (Ref: AuA/APM-N/06/10)
The Assistant Programme Manger will assist in managing AusAID’s NGO and community partnerships for the Australian aid program in Africa.
Key qualification and experience
For both Assistant Manager positions:
A bachelor’s degree and a relevant post graduate degree.
A minimum of 5 years relevant experience directly involved in aid program management.
Excellent communication, negotiation and networking skills.
