Family Health International is a public health and development organization working to improve the lives of the world's most vulnerable people.
Its 2,500 staff work in 55 countries conducting research and implementing programs that advance public health and build local capacity to address development problems.
Act as a liaison with relevant private and public agencies and other donors regarding Mozambique programs and activities;
Manage the development of country plans, their periodic review and revision;
Manage the design of subproject activities;
Manage country office staffing levels and supervise country office staff;
Ensure appropriate monitoring of subprojects;
Ensure production of timely and accurate financial and substantive reports to FHI, USAID and other donors as required.
Masters level degree in social science, public health or related field.
at least five years experience managing large international development projects.
at least five years of senior level project management experience.
Experience must reflect knowledge, skills and abilities listed above.
Overseas field experience required.
Good cross-cultural skills.
English and Portuguese language skills required.
