Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Sell the Company’s range of group life, credit life & pensions products to corporate clients directly and through insurance brokers & independent agents,
Recruit, train, develop and manage a team of direct sales agents of the Company
Build relationships with insurance brokers, independent agents and corporate clients
Work closely with the business development team of the Company’s related insurance company so as to develop strong business synergies within the group,
Expand the company’s market share in defined and new markets
Research and report on market trends and intelligence and assist in development of new products suitable for defined market segments
Develop and implement key account management plans that will drive account retention.
Maintain client satisfaction as per the service level agreements
Develop and Implement sales and marketing strategies
Prepare and present timely Executive Management reports
Ensure company standards and business practises are safeguarded internally & externally
Ensure compliance with all industry regulators and any other legal requirements.
Qualifications:
Three years corporate marketing experience in the insurance industry.
Be able to clearly exhibit to the Company on his/her past 3 years group life, credit life and pensions business production directly and through insurance brokers, direct sales agents & independent agents
The ability to prospect and network in a defined market, and to market the Company’s products.
Integrity, honesty and a high degree of professionalism.Excellent all-level communication and interpersonal skills.
Graduate from a recognized university.
