American Friends Service Committee Jobs: The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) is a Quaker organization that includes people of various faiths who are committed to social justice, peace, and humanitarian service.

They are currently seeking to recruit for the position of:

Country Representative – Zimbabwe

Qualifications:

Master’s degree preferred, with specialization in international development, humanitarian assistance or peace and conflict studies, or a bachelor’s degree with significant relevant experience.

Six years experience in international positions working in the global south with increasing responsibility in planning and managing humanitarian assistance, recovery and development programs.

Fluency in written and spoken English; demonstrated ability to report orally and in writing; ability to write and edit materials for publication in English.

Experience working and living outside of one’s own country in the global south.

Closing date: 05 August.
