American Friends Service Committee Jobs: The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) is a Quaker organization that includes people of various faiths who are committed to social justice, peace, and humanitarian service.

They are currently seeking to recruit for the position of:

Country Representative – Zimbabwe

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree preferred, with specialization in international development, humanitarian assistance or peace and conflict studies, or a bachelor’s degree with significant relevant experience.
  • Six years experience in international positions working in the global south with increasing responsibility in planning and managing humanitarian assistance, recovery and development programs.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; demonstrated ability to report orally and in writing; ability to write and edit materials for publication in English.
  • Experience working and living outside of one’s own country in the global south.
