The main duty station will be Kalongo, Pader District, Northern Uganda
The person will respond to the Project Manager and to the HQs Desk Officer
Main tasks:
Ensure the implementation of the activities, writing reports and attending to financial management
Draw up activities planning
Coordinating the local staff assigned to the action
Assure an efficient office organization and a correct registration of the project documentation Guarantee the project reports respecting the deadline required by Donors, HQs, her/his referent
Be in charge of the procurement operation guaranteeing the respect of the donor (MFA), Organization and Local Government rules
Required Competencies:
Relevant third level qualification in Agronomy or related subjects
Relevant previous experiences on the field in developing countries, preferably in Africa
Adaptability for hard living conditions
Communication skills with ability to work closely with Cesvi local staff and the beneficiaries
Excellent knowledge of English written and spoken
Desirable Competencies:
Previous work experience in food security and agriculture projects
Skilled in administration issues
Previous experience in the country
Dynamic and willing to take initiative to complete tasks assigned
Guarantee the conservation and management of the reserved information
Assure the flows of information in accordance with the HQs indications that are needed to support the Fund Raising activities and the social and economical reports
