Serving Africans around the world.

November 22 2006, ISSUE #014.

Hi!

Welcome to this issue of the newsletter.

Highlights include:

- Undergraduate partial scholarships.
- Fully funded MBA scholarships for African women.
- Several general fully funded MBA scholarships for students from developing countries.
- A number of Masters scholarships and their up coming application deadlines.
- Details of scholarship available to masters or PhD students in Kenya.
- As always, a number of PhD scholarships.

As promised, we also have a link to the story of a successful Erasmus Mundus African applicant. Thanks to Reuben Kyama (Erasmus Mundus Masters Journalism) for the insights shared.

For African undergraduate students wishing to transfer credits and complete their studies in the Netherlands on a fully funded scholarship, look out for the Huygens scholarship link.

Finally, once again remember the two-year Echoing Green Fellowship offers up to $90,000 in seed funding, plus health insurance and support services, to social entrepreneurs with a compelling vision.

It will provide the funding irrespective of nationality and the project can be based in Africa; pre-application deadline is drawing closer. See the link at the upcoming deadlines part of the newsletter.

This week's thought - Getting Started!

"Don't wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what? Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful."

- Mark Victor Hansen.

Bye for now .

Regards,

Joe Ngugi.
