The Mo Ibrahim Foundation Scholarship of up to £50,000, aims to help produce exceptional leaders for Africa by attracting and supporting outstanding sub-Saharan African students on the full-time MBA Programme at London Business School.
The PPM programme scholarships are available to students living and working in developing countries. The PPM programme is especially relevant for public professionals involved in shaping and implementing policy objectives, or those wanting to develop a career in this field.
Scholarships are available to students living and working in developing countries, particularly those working in or with public organisations, including NGOs, aid agencies and local/national government departments. The Masters programmes covered by these bursaries are flexible.
There are 250 Scholarships (Full + Partial fee)available at University of Huddersfield, UK. The scholarships are available in all Schools and are open to all applicants who lack funding but have outstanding academic merit and excellent research potential.
TIT provides undergraduate programs and Chinese language program. Benefits include free accommodation for a duration of 4 academic years. TIT also offer a generous scholarship.
The Graça Machel Scholarship Programme provides a minimum of 60 postgraduate scholarships to female students from Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Swaziland, South Africa and Zambia in both South Africa and the UK. The scholarship includes payment of a maintenance allowance, travel, health insurance and tuition fees.
The Program seeks highly-motivated candidates who have completed their undergraduate education, or the equivalent, but who have not necessarily attained an advanced degree. Scholars will be awarded a stipend valued at $30,000 Canadian for travel, tuition, housing, meals and supplies.
The monthly stipends range from €715 to €795, depending on the level of academic advancement. Artists and musicians monthly stipend is €715. In addition, DAAD will cover health insurance and and provide a flat rate subsidy for travel costs. Applicants in all academic fields are welcome to apply.
The Deutsche Bank scholarships in the amount of £20,000 each will be awarded to MBA and Masters in Finance students. The scholarships are designed to enable talented women with an interest in the finance sector to study at London Business School.
The scholarships are offered to international students who wish to study tourism and hospitality in Australia at THE-ICE member institutions. Applicants can choose from over 60 programs in tourism business management, hotel/resort management, sport/event tourism or ecotourism.
The London Business School Annual Fund Scholarships of up to £20,000 are awarded on a merit basis. Candidates are considered automatically for Annual Fund scholarships. You do not need to submit a separate application.
Ten scholarships are awarded to doctoral and post-doctoral students at universities throughout the world and ten scholarships at Tel Aviv University. The Prize is granted according to merit, without discrimination based on gender, race, religion, nationality, or political affiliation.
For Canberra courses, the scholarship of A$12,000 cover tuition fees and A$6,200 towards living costs as a stipend and NOK 40,000 in tuition fee and NOK 30,000 towards living costs as a stipend for courses offerefd in Oslo.
$20,000 per year will be awarded, to cover justifiable field research expenses. Candidates must propose a budget that covers the costs of fieldwork in Canada and/or other developing countries. Awards are for students interested in research into a problem that is common to First Nations or Inuit communities in Canada and a developing country.
Windle Trust International provides access to education and training for those affected by conflict in Africa. The Trust sponsors refugees and internally displaced people at vocational institutes and universities in Kenya, Uganda, Sudan and Ethiopia. It also sponsors Postgraduate refugees and internally displaced people from the Horn and East Africa at universities in the UK.
The Gandhi Smarak Nidhi fund will offer a limited number of partial scholarships tenable at the University of Nairobi, for Masters and Postgraduate Diploma studies.
The scholarships, which cover full accommodation at Rhodes University, the PDMM tuition fees, medical insurance, books and stationery and a small subsistence allowance, are sponsored by MTN. The PDMM is a one-year fulltime programme.
The Fund considers applications of candidates who prove sustained academic excellence and dedicates partial or full assistance to waive off the tuition fees and related academic materials. The Scholarship Fund covers tuitions on Distance Learning Graduate and Doctoral levels.
Under the Postgraduate Research Scholarship Scheme, funding of €24,000 is provided for each of three years for Doctorate level research (total funding of €72,000) and one year (€24,000) for Masters level research.
BFWG have limited funds to make awards to women graduates undertaking postgraduate study or research in Great Britain. There is no upper age limit and the scholarships of up to £6,000 are intended to encourage advanced scholarship and original research by women graduates regardless of nationality.
NFP fellowship is granted for the duration of the programme and it is intended to provide a contribution towards the costs of living, to cover the costs of tuition fees, cost of visas, travel, insurance, thesis research, etc. Fellowships are awarded to individuals and the need for training must occur within the context of the organization for which an applicant works.
IAD Tuition Fellowship Award is a one-year fellowship awarded on a competitive basis to graduate students from sub Saharan Africa. The fellowship covers tuition and fees for one academic year. Candidates from sub Saharan Africa are encouraged to apply for the fellowship award.
Human Rights Watch, the international human rights monitoring and advocacy organization, invites applications for its fellowship program. Benefits include $48,000 salary for fellows plus excellent employer-paid benefits.
The Human Rights Program offers fellowships annually to work with organizations promoting human rights defense in response to mass atrocity or widespread and severe patterns of rights abuse. The fellowship carries a stipend of $27,000 for the 12-month fellowship period, plus medical and other benefits.
Forté Foundation offers fellowships of up to £20,000 each, to women who are pursuing a full-time MBA education at participating business schools. The Fellowships are intended to increase the number of women enrolling in MBA programs.
ITTO Fellowships provides tuition/training/conference fees, transportation fees, daily subsistence allowance, book allowance and other allowances. For post-gradate studies, only a partial tuition fee or a small research grant can be provided.
The Arcadia Fund is providing funding for research studentships in Conservation Biology, to be based in the Department of Zoology, University of Cambridge, UK. Arcadia Fund expect to fund two students from less developed countries to start in autumn 2009, with a third student to start a year later.
The Research into Use programme aims to maximise the poverty-reducing impact of the DFID-funded natural resources research produced under the RNRRS in sub-Saharan Africa. The budget for a single African ICF initiative is £300,000 GBP over the next three years.
The scheme is open to a wide range of people, including media professionals, educators, science communicators, health professionals and researchers in bioscience, health, bioethics and history. Partnership projects (between different people and organisations, e.g. scientists and media professionals, ethicists and community workers) are welcome.
