A: Scholarships

  • BSc Electronic and Computer Engineering Scholarships, Politecnico di Torino

    The project offers international students the possibility to receive a scholarship and other benefits to graduate from the Politecnico di Torino. The gross amount of the scholarship is 10.000 Euro per year (30.000 Euro for the complete period).

  • Palmhouse Foundation Scholarships

    Palmhouse Foundation provides Palmhouse Foundation scholarships to bright and talented children from families that are financially challenged by diverse circumstances and most of whom have attended poorly equipped rural primary schools. By financing their secondary education and mentoring each child through this impressionable age, Palmhouse Foundation believes they will transform their lives, their families and ultimately the society they live in.

  • MSc Structural Molecular Biology Commonwealth Scholarships (Distance Learning)

    Up to eight scholarships from the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) will be available for students from Commonwealth countries. The scholarships will cover 100% of the course fees.

  • Shell and IMD MBA Alumni Scholarships

    The four Shell and IMD MBA Alumni Scholarships are designed to encourage diversity in the class. The scholarship amounts to CHF 30,000.

  • Google ICT Scholarship

    Scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of candidates' academic background and demonstrated leadership. The scholarship recipients will each receive a $10,000 scholarship. Remaining finalists will receive $1,000 each.

  • MA Scholarships in Diversity, Culture and Identity

    12 WISE MA Fees Scholarships are available for postgraduate study in WISE on the MA in Modern Slavery Studies, MA in Diversity, Culture and Identity and MA in Criminology with Human Rights. The MA focuses on issues of social and cultural difference, power, policy and social justice.

  • International Policy Fellowships

    The International Policy Fellowships (IPF) program identifies and supports research by open society leaders in countries throughout the Soros foundations network. Successful applicants will demonstrate originality, sound project design, and the strong likelihood that their project will lead to significant impact on policy.

  • Deans Latin America and Africa Scholarship

    The Dean’s Latin America and Africa Scholarship is a scholarship awarded annually to an exceptional MBA from Africa. Candidates who wish to apply for this award need only state their interest in the “scholarships” section of the Oxford MBA online application form.

  • SSRC Fellowship and Grant programs

    Social Science Research Council (SSRC) fellowship and grant programs provide support and professional recognition to innovators within fields, and especially to younger researchers whose work and ideas will have longer-term impact on society and scholarship. Although most programs target the social sciences, many are also open to applicants from the humanities, the natural sciences, and relevant professional and practitioner communities.

  • International Symposium Media Scholarships

    Media Scholarships are offered to attend the 11th International Coral Reef Symposium. The scholarships, which will be applied to travel and/or accommodation expenses, will be based on need, point of origin and the ability of the media organization to help defray costs.

  • Mechanical Engineering Scholarships

    Applications are invited for Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Scholarships at the Alessandria campus. The gross amount of the Alessandria Campus scholarship is 10.000 Euro per year (30.000 Euro for the complete period).

  • 375 Scholarships for Research Students

    As part of a major expansion in research activity the University of Huddersfield has announced the immediate availability of 125 fee-waiver scholarships. It is anticipated that each year 75 of the scholarships will waive 100% of tuition fees and 50 scholarships will waive 50% of tuition fees.

  • PhD Positions in Accounting and Marketing, Stockholm University School of Business

    4-6 positions within the areas of accounting and marketing at Stockholm University School of Business. Selection is made on the basis of the applicants’ documented knowledge in the relevant subjects, linguistic skills in English (both spoken and written), and analytical, critical, thinking ability and creativity.

  • PhD Position for Candidates with a MSc in Mathematics, Physics or Related Fields

    A three year position as research fellow (PhD position) is available within the project ”Reservoir characterization using ensemble Kalman filter” at University of Bergen. The successful applicant will spend one year as visiting scholar at the University of Oklahoma or the University of Tulsa.

  • PhD Scholarships Queen Margaret University

    Queen Margaret University has a small number of PhD studentships to award. Bursaries cover all tuition fees and provide help with living costs for three years. The applicant meets the standard entry criteria for research degrees.

  • Roehampton University PhD Scholarships

    Up to seven research studentships (fees at Home/EU rate plus stipend and use of a University laptop) are available for students to undertake PhDs full-time or part-time, to start 1 October 2008 or as soon as possible after this date. They will pay fees at the current Home/EU rate (currently £3,000 p.a. full-time, £1,500 p.a. part time) and annual stipend of £4,000 (full-time) or £2,000 (part-time).

  • PhD Studentships in Health Sciences, Queen Margaret University - UK

    Queen Margaret University is making funds available for up to 7 PhD studentships. Successful applicants will have all fees waived for three years and will receive support with living costs.

  • PhD Scholarships and 2 Graduate Teaching Assistantships, University of Kent

    These will cover tuition fees at the Home/EU rate and a maintenance grant up to £6,000 per annum for the GTAs and £12,600 per annum for the Scholarships. Applicants will be considered simultaneously for both awards. Only successful candidates will be contacted and informed which award they have been selected for.

  • Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation Grants

    These fellowships of $15,000 each are designed to contribute to the support of the doctoral candidate to enable him or her to complete the thesis in a timely manner, and it is only appropriate to apply for support for the final year of Ph.D. work.

  • PhD and Postdoctoral Research Positions in Applied Mechanics

    The successful applicants will be involved in characterizing the electro/magneto-mechanical properties and in developing numerical methods to simulate the deformation process of electro/magneto-active polymers under electric loading. Experience in experimental work, material modelling and numerical methods such as the finite element method is highly expected.

  • PhD Position at the Department of Computer Science, Karlstad University - Sweden

    A Ph.D. position is available within the IT Security Group at the Department of Computer Science at Karlstad University. The IT Security Group is focusing on privacy-enhancing technologies, network and operating system security.

    The Mathematical Biology Group at the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences, University of Helsinki, Finland is seeking outstanding, highly motivated candidates to join research projects at the interface between mathematics and ecology and evolutionary biology. Salary and social benefits according to the University of Helsinki Salary system, around 2,300 Euro/month for PhD students and 3,100 Euro/month for post docs (the latter negotiable).
