1. ENS Lyon Master Program International Scholarships The ENS Lyon Master Program International Scholarships offers outstanding international students the chance to receive a 1,000 euro per month scholarship. The scholarships can be renewed but it all depends on the participants academic achievement.
2. Rotary Peace and Conflicts Scholarships Scholarships for Rotary Peace and Conflicts Study Program are provided by Rotary International to citizens of countries with Rotary Club presence. Applicants must be proficient in the language of the host country.
3. King Abdullah Scholar Award The King Abdullah Scholar Award is conferred upon outstanding students to support their continued research efforts. The Award consists of funding for up to four years to continue the scholar's research project, a living stipend and travel funds. 4. Scottish International Scholarship Programme The scholarship aims to create lasting connections between Scotland and industry leaders and entrepreneurs across the world. The programme offers about 22 scholarships each year. These are for courses at any Scottish higher education institution.
5. Erasmus Mundus Scholarships Erasmus Mundus Scholarships are offered by the European Union for study at various European Universities. The scholarships are fully paid and they also offer a monthly stipend.
6. Rotary World Peace Fellowship The Rotary World Peace Fellowship is for study at one of seven Rotary university. Each year, up to 60 Rotary World Peace Fellowships are offered.
7. African Women Public Service Fellowship The African Women Public Service Fellowship is made possible by a donation from the Oprah Winfrey Foundation. It offers African women the opportunity for graduate study at New York University, Wagner (USA), to prepare them for public service in their home countries.
8. Rotary Grants for University Teachers Higher-education faculty can teach abroad through Rotary Grants for University Teachers. Awards are not restricted by gender, age, or marital status.
9. Conservation Conference Grants and Internships Applicants for the Student Conference on Conservation Science(SCCS) will be offered Busaries to attend the conference and Internships to spend up to one month after the conference with a UK-based conservation NGO or a university department carrying out a project of mutual interest. The internship will cover the intern's costs of travelling to the UK from their home country and attending the conference.
10. Grants for Developing Country Researchers Studying Poverty Issues The Poverty and Economic Policy (PEP) Research Network provides financial and scientific support to teams of developing country researchers. A shortlist of teams will be invited to present their proposals during December 2008 general meeting before the final selection.
The UNICEF/UNDP/World Bank/WHO Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases (TDR) invites applications for the award of Research Training Grants (RTG) from individuals who are nationals of least developed disease endemic countries (LDC). Research Training Grants are awarded, on a competitive basis.
12. Master grants for candidates from developing countries - Ghent University This Ghent University programme provides master grants to candidates from developing countries who wish to obtain a master’s degree at Ghent University. They are awarded for the duration of the studies with a maximum of 2 years.
13. Deans Latin America and Africa Scholarship The Dean’s Latin America and Africa Scholarship is a scholarship awarded annually to an exceptional MBA from Africa. To be considered for the Dean’s Latin America and Africa Scholarship you must be accepted onto Oxford’s MBA programme.
14. Master of Integrated Water Management Scholarships Water Leader Scholarships Program will offer full and partial tuition Master of Integrated Water Management Scholarships. The Master of Integrated Water Management Scholarships will cover full tuition costs.
15. The Walt Disney Company Foundation Scholarship A full-tuition only scholarship award that may be renewed annually for up to four years of study is available. Four-year, full-tuition only scholarship to a university or college of the student’s choice.
16. HEC - Forté Foundation Scholarships As part of the HEC partnership with the Forté Foundation, the HEC MBA Program will offer exceptional women four significant scholarships per graduating class. Candidates should have demonstrated a commitment to women via personal mentorship or community involvement.
17. Ruth Satter Memorial Award, Association for Women in Science Predoctoral Awards 2008 The Ruth Satter Memorial Award is designed for outstanding graduate students who interrupted their education for at least three years to raise a family. Association for Women in Science (AWIS) may also award Citations of Merit ($300).
18. Dissertation Proposal Development Fellowship - Social Science Research Council This fellowship program is designed to help graduate students formulate doctoral dissertation proposals that are competitive in fellowship competitions. If awarded a fellowship, your expenses (airfare, hotel, meals, ground transport) will be paid for by the Social Science Research Council.
19. Wildlife Conservation Fellowship Program The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service is pleased to announce the 2008-2009 Wildlife Without Borders Africa program. The Fellows will develop knowledge, skills, attitudes, and practices to mitigate the illegal bushmeat exploitation in East Africa.
20. Kathryn Davis Fellowships for Peace Middlebury College is pleased to announce The Kathryn Davis Fellowships for Peace: Investing in the Study of Critical Languages. Fellowships will cover the full cost of a summer of language study from beginner to graduate.
21. Japanese MEXT Masters Scholarships, The Monbukagakusho Scholarship The scholarship, which exempts its scholars from tuition, entrance examination and entrance fees, provides one round trip ticket to and from Japan. A monthly allowance is 170,000 Yen for the first 12 months, and 160,000 Yen for the remaining period.
22. University of Malaya Fellowship Scheme The University of Malaya (UM) invites all non-Malaysians interested in pursuing postgraduate studies in the University of Malaya to apply for the University of Malaya Fellowship Scheme. Total value of the fellowship scheme is up to a maximum of RM100,000.00 inclusive of monthly stipends, registration fees, tuition fees, research fees, examination fees and service fees.
23. Master PhD Scholarship Urban Engineering - University of Tokyo University of Tokyo, offers graduate study program with governmental scholarship for foreign student. The applicant must start their studies in Japan between 1 and 7 October 2008.

PhD in Chemical & Biochemical Process Eng, University of Magdeburg, Germany The International Max Planck Research School for Analysis, Design and Optimization in Chemical and Biochemical Process Engineering in Magdeburg invites applications for these Phd Scholarships. Outstanding young international students are being sought.
25. PhD Studentship in Geotechnics - Imperial College London Applications are invited for a fully funded EPSRC CASE studentship based in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Imperial College London. Applicants should note that qualification for this form of EPSRC award is dependent on the candidate being a UK national or a non-UK EU national having been resident in the UK for three or more years prior to appointment.
26. PhD Studentship in Medical Manufacturing - Loughborough University, UK A full-time EPSRC/IMCRC-funded PhD studentship is available at Loughborough University, UK. The studentship is available immediately, and covers tuition fees and provides a tax-free stipend for the three-year duration of the project starting at £12,600 pa. and increasing with an annual increment.
