October 04 2007, ISSUE #052. 1. Master in Law and Economics Scholarships The European Master in Law and Economics Scholarships amount to 21,000 EURO per selected student. Annually, nineteen scholarships for students are available.
2. European Masters in Clinical Linguistics Scholarships The Erasmus Mundus European Masters in Clinical Linguistics Scholarships for non-European students amounts to 20.800 EUR plus a fixed amount of 5.000 EUR. The aim of the Masters Course is to train highly qualified advanced students who are excellently prepared for research work and Ph.D. programmes.
3. MSc European Forestry Scholarships (MSc EF) Erasmus Mundus MSc European Forestry Scholarships are available to applicants from third countries. Third country students awarded with an Erasmus Mundus Scholarships receive a total of 42,000 EUR during the 2 years of studies.
4. International Fellowships Programme International Fellowships Programme actively seeks candidates from social groups and communities that lack systematic access to higher education. The ideal candidate holds honors Bachelor’s degree to apply for a Master’s fellowship and a Master’s degree for a Ph.D.
5. Undergraduate Scholarships in Netherlands The Undergraduate Scholarships in Netherlands is open to students from all countries of the world. The scholarship includes a monthly allowance of €900 euros, the full cost of tuition fees and a one-off payment towards international travel costs.
6. Master of Laws Program Scholarships in Singapore and USA The New York University School of Law and National University of Singapore Dual Degree Program is offered on a full-time basis only and begins in the Summer semester (May). There is more funding available for students studying in Singapore, therefore, for applicants whose first preference is New York University at National University of Singapore, there is a greater chance of receiving a scholarship.
7. Master Degree Scholarships in Netherlands Master Degree Scholarships in Netherlands is meant for students who are already in employment. A candidate applying for a Master's fellowship must declare that they will return to their home country immediately after the Master's course has ended.
8. Scholarships for Short Courses This program is intended to provide a contribution towards the costs of living, to cover the costs of tuition fees, and the cost of visas, travel, insurance, thesis research. The candidate is required to offer evidence of proficiency in English.
9. Scholarship for MS Degree in Chemical Engineering at King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia The Chemical and Materials Engineering Department at King Abdulaziz University (KAU) is seeking outstanding college graduates from all over the world to apply for the Master degree program. Applicant should hold a Bachelor degree in chemical or materials engineering with an outstanding grade.
10. Scholarships for international students, University of Wolverhampton - UK The University of Wolverhampton has been awarded three prestigious scholarships to support students from developing Commonwealth countries. Around 200 awards are made to higher education institutions every year.
11. International Student Video Travel Contest InternationalStudent.com sponsors an annual video competition with a $2,500 grand prize. To enter, you must submit a 4-8 minute video describing the trip you will take if you win.
12. Scholarship Programmes for Master and PhD at University of Oslo - Norway The Norwegian government offers some scholarship programmes for international students interested in studying in Norway. Also, grants and scholarships may be available through short-term mobility programmes. 13. TWAS-UNESCO Associateship Scheme at Centres of Excellence in the South In cooperation with UNESCO, TWAS in 1994 instituted the 'associateship scheme' to help counteract the brain drain affecting many developing countries. The associateship covers the associate's travel expenses and a monthly contribution of US$300 towards incidental local expenses.
14. PhD Scholarships in Holland The maximum duration of this PhD fellowship is four years. Applications for an Norads Fellowship Programmes(NFP) PhD fellowship should have reached Nuffic before the first of July or before the first of November preceding the year during which the PhD research project will start.
15. Human Rights Advocates Program - Columbia University The Human Rights Advocates Program (HRAP) is designed to prepare proven human rights leaders to participate in national and international policy debates on globalization by building their skills, knowledge, and contacts. Full fellowships are provided to cover program costs as well as travel and living expenses for selected Advocates each year.
16. Faculty Fellowship at Stanford University The Clayman Institute for Gender Research at Stanford University invites applications for residential fellowships for the academic year 2008-2009. Applications will be considered from U.S. and foreign universities.
17. PhD Scholarships in Economics at University of Otago, New Zealand Applications are invited for PhD scholarships in Economics at the University of Otago. These Scholarships consist of various components; payment of tuition fees for the degree for which the Scholarship is given, a living allowance paid monthly, costs incurred in the production of two copies of the hard bound thesis.
18. PhD Studentships in Skin Cancer Research, University of Dundee, UK Applications are invited from well-motivated candidates with at least an upper second class honours degree for these PhD Studentships in Skin Cancer Research, University of Dundee, UK.Candidates with Masters degrees are also encouraged to apply. 19. Overseas PhD Scholarship, University of Manchester, UK ORS awards provide funding to pay the difference between the international student tuition fees and the home/EU student tuition fees. Applicants must either possess a first class honours degree or international equivalent or hold a Master's degree with distinction.
20. PhD Studentship at Manchester University - UK The University of Manchester, UK is seeking an outstanding research student for the final place on their Wellcome Trust-funded PhD Four Year Programme, for entry in January 2008. A stipend of ~£16k - £18k is available.
21. Engineering Doctorate Research Engineers at Loughborough University - UK This opportunity is suitable for motivated individuals and experienced engineers/scientists seeking high profile career enhancement. A lower qualification is acceptable if supplemented with an appropriate postgraduate qualification (e.g. MBA/MSc) and/or substantial industrial experience.
22. Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Bioinformatics at Macquarie University A Postdoctoral Research Fellow with strong quantitative skills is being sought to undertake research in the area of protein structure prediction.
